We simply ask that owners have a leash ready when passing others and are considerate of other trail users’ experiences. However, well-behaved dogs can join their owners for adventures midweek during non-holiday periods. ![]() We do not allow dogs on our Nordic trails on weekends or during holiday periods. And Nordic trail passes and tickets can be obtained online or from the King Pine base lodge. Snowshoe equipment and cross-country ski rentals when conditions permit are available at the King Pine Rental Shop. Our grooming is minimal, there is no skate or classic track grooming, and our trails are open from sunrise to sunset and our terrain ranges from intermediate to advanced. ![]() With access to Purity Spring XC & Snowshoe Reserve, you’ll find trails that wind through the forests around Purity Lake, traverse the grounds of Purity Spring Resort and twist through tall pines in the adjacent Hoyt/Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary. And thanks to the 20km of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails at King Pine, you can hear a whole lot of that satisfying sound. You can always hear the crunch of the snow more clearly without the whir of the lifts getting in the way. ![]()
